Funeral

On Sunday I went to a town called Palumpon, Leyte for a funeral of some guy I didn’t know. Most of the stores that should have been closed where closed. So everybody was doing home choirs. This is a perfect example as to why people should be taught with understanding. These people shut businesses down that should be shut down like asked but then didn’t use the day for rest.

The funeral was like a normal funeral only instead of a line of cars following a black hearse, it was a line of people following a green station wagon. At the end of the funeral they where trying to give away all the extra food.  Nobody would take it. After a while I decided to be the one to take it. I’ve never been big on passing up free stuff. Then people became scared of me because there is a belief in the Philippines that if you take anything with you from the funeral that bad things will happen 2 you. I’m an America where we believe if you take something that is free it means you don’t have to pay for it.
